R & L has a new sail loft  in Mallorca. Banks Sails and Ratsey & Lapthorn.

The loft is under the directorship of Juan Merayo and offers customers expert advice, service, repair, full on-board discussion/ consultation for new sails and after-sales help.

Ratsey & Lapthorn and Banks Sails had co-operated together for some time in the U.K and it was a logical step to create a closer relationship and in 1999 the two famous sailmaking identities formally merged to create a unique relationship. Sailmaking expertise from "classic" all hand-sewn sails to the latest CAD/Laser cut sails using the most modern sail materials.
